ATLANTA - The FGCU duo of Uju Ezeudu (Player) and Emani Jefferson (Newcomer) were joined by Jacksonville's Saniyah Craig (Freshman) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Uju Ezeudu, FGCU
Graduate | Shooter | Reynoldsburg, Ohio
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; 69th all-time honor for the Eagles
- Helped FGCU keep its unblemished conference record intact with a home victory over Stetson (68-52)
- Posted her sixth double-double of the season in the win with 20 points and 10 rebounds while filling out her stat line with three assists and two steals
- Reached 20 points for the fifth time this season to improve her average to 13.1 points per game on the year
- Helped improve FGCU's home winning streak to 27 games, the third-longest active home winning streak in the country

- Leads FGCU in scoring with a 16.5 ppg average while sitting at No. 3 in the conference
- Helped improve FGCU's conference winning streak to 36 games, the nation's longest-active conference win streak

- Averaged 15.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and a steal in a 2-0 week for the Dolphins
- Secured her fifth double-double of the season with her 17 points and 15 rebounds in the 70-59 win against the Owls
- Followed it up with 13 points and nine rebounds against Queens
- Shot 63 percent from the field (12-for-19) in her 60 minutes of action
