ATLANTA - The Kennesaw State duo of Prencis Harden (Player) and Trynce Taylor (Freshman) were joined by FGCU's Emani Jefferson (Newcomer) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Prencis Harden, Kennesaw State
Junior | Forward | Swainsboro, Ga.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; 21st all-time honor for the Owls and first since the 2021-22 season
- Posted an average of 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 assists at the West Palm Beach Classic where KSU went 1-1
- Recorded her second career double-double against San Diego State with 14 points and 10 rebounds
- Played a vital role in the comeback win over Providence; she tallied seven points in KSU's 22-1 run to seal the victory
- Totaled 23 tallies, including two go-ahead free throws with under a second remaining to give the Owls a 53-51 win

Women's Basketball Newcomer of the Week

- First Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week award; 56th all-time nod for the Eagles and third this season
- Averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 45% from the floor in a 2-0 week for FGCU
- Had a team-high 15 points in a win over Drexel while finishing two rebounds shy of a double-double
- Netted 14 against Southern Miss (No. 12 in the Mid-Major Top 25 Poll); added seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block
- Helped FGCU protect the sixth-longest active home winning streak in the nation at 20 consecutive wins

- First Career ASUN Freshman of the Week award; 18th all-time honor for the Owls
- Combined for 22 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks in a 1-1 week for KSU
- Tallied 15 points in the opening game of the West Palm Beach Classic against San Diego State while adding six boards
- Totaled seven points while adding another six rebounds in a comeback win over Providence (53-51)
- Shot 63% from the floor in her 57 minutes between the two contests (10-of-16), highlighted by 75% shooting in the 53-51 win (3-of-4)
