ATLANTA - Stetson's Jaelyn Talley (Player) was joined by Bellarmine's Paetynn Gray (Newcomer) and North Florida's Alexa Washington (Freshman) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Jaelyn Talley, Stetson
Sophomore | Forward | Fairfax, Va.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; 73rd all-time honor for the Hatters and first since the 2020-21 season
- Scored nine points while snagging 14 rebounds; added two steals and an assist in a 1-0 week for Stetson
- Tied a season-high with 14 rebounds, which she set at High Point earlier this season
- Helped Stetson remain unbeaten at home by earning a 56-48 win over Morgan State
- Was 4-of-8 from the floor with six of her 14 rebounds coming on the offensive side

- Second Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week award; third all-time nod for the Knights
- Recorded her second double-double of the season in a 95-44 win over Campbellsville - Harrodsburg
- Had a team-high 20 points and a game-best 12 rebounds; the 20-point performance was also a season-high
- Filled out her stat line with three assists and three blocks as well
- Powered Bellarmine to its fourth win in the last five games

Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week
Alexa Washington, North Florida
Freshman | Guard | Monroeville, Pa.
- Second Career ASUN Freshman of the Week award; fourth all-time honor for the Ospreys
- Combined for 34 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 1-1 week for UNF
- Made a program-best nine three-pointers in a win against Piedmont on her way to a career-high 31 points
- The 31 points were the eighth-most points scored by a UNF player; the first time matching that mark since 2021
- Set lifetime bests in minutes played (30), field goal makes and attempts (11-for-19) and three-point makes and attempts (9-for-16)
