ATLANTA - FGCU's Emani Jefferson (Player and Newcomer), was joined by North Alabama's Veronaye Charlton (Freshman) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office.

- Second Career ASUN Player of the Week award and Third Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week; 67th and 58th all-time honors for the FGCU, respectively
- Averaged 25.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals in a 2-0 week for FGCU as they earned their 10th straight win
- Produced a double-double effort, dropping a career-high 27 points while snagging 11 rebounds in the 75-54 victory over Lipscomb
- Earned her third consecutive game with 20 points or more against Austin Peay with a 23-point performance while shooting 88% from the field (7-of-8)
- With the victory over the Govs, Coach Smesko notched win No. 599 at the helm of the Eagles and extended the nation's longest conference win streak to 29 against current ASUN members

- Averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists while shooting 54% from the floor in her 49 minutes of action in a 2-0 week for UNA
- Scored 14 points while adding a career-high nine rebounds and five assists in the 79-60 win over the Owls at CB&S Bank Arena
- Helped the Lions outlast Queens on the road with a 13-point outing while dishing out five assists to move to 4-3 in conference play
- Shot 86% from the charity stripe (12-of-14) including a perfect 6-of-6 against Kennesaw State
