Weekly Honors Captured by FGCU's Jefferson and UNA's Criswell

ATLANTA - FGCU's Emani Jefferson (Player and Newcomer), was joined by North Alabama's Katie Criswell (Freshman) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office.

Emani Jefferson, FGCU
Junior | Shooter | Miami, Fla.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award and Second Career ASUN Newcomer of the Week; 66th and 57th all-time honors for the FGCU, respectively
- Dropped a career-high 24 points Thursday in the 82-57 victory over Queens while shooting 77% from the charity stripe
- Turned in a 19-point performance in the win over Kennesaw State on Saturday boasting a perfect field-goal percentage (8-of-8)
- Helped the Eagles earn the program's eighth straight victory while moving to 5-0 in the conference standings
- Averaged 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals while helping FGCU extend its home winning streak to 23 consecutive games, the fifth-longest active home winning streak

- First Career ASUN Freshman of the Week award; 15th all-time honor for the Lions
- Averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists while shooting 47% from the floor in her 66 minutes of action for UNA
- Helped the Lions earn a 91-90 OT road win over Bellarmine recording 13 points, six rebounds, two assists
- Tallied four points, while grabbing two rebounds and dishing out two assists against EKU on Saturday
- After a 1-1 week on the hardwood, the Lions sit seventh in the conference standings at 2-3
