ATLANTA - Austin Peay's Shamarre Hale (Player), was joined by Central Arkansas's Jade Upshaw (Newcomer) and Kennesaw State's Trynce Taylor (Freshman) in earning this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Basketball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office.

- First Career ASUN Player of the Week award; first all-time honor for the Governors
- Picked up consecutive double-doubles in the opening week of ASUN play for APSU
- Posted 13 points and 12 rebounds in the 65-63 win over Bellarmine shooting 80% from the floor (4-of-5)
- Tallied 15 points while securing 10 rebounds against EKU to move the Govs to 2-0
- Added three blocks and one steal between the two games while shooting 73% from the floor (8-of-11) for the week

- Reached the 500-point milestone in her career while helping UCA to a 1-0 ASUN record

- Shot 60% from the floor and went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe
- Filled out the stat line in KSU's league opener with one assist and two steals
