JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville's Priscilla Williams, Stetson's Mary McMillan, Central Arkansas' Shae Littleford and Austin Peay's Jim'Miyah Branton earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Basketball honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Williams earned Player of the Week honors after averaging 29.0 points, eight assists, and 23 rebounds in a pair of home road wins. This is the third-straight double-double for the guard. McMillan, who also earned Player of the Week after scoring 53 points over two games while shooting over 58 percent from the field. She had a career-high 33 points against Jacksonville while going 11-of-20 from the field and 4-from-6 from beyond the arc. Littleford was named Newcomer of the Week. She led the Sugar Bears to a 12-point victory against EKU. She recorded 36 points, six assists and 13 rebounds on the week. Jim'Miyah Branton was named Freshman of the Week after posting 28 points and eight rebounds. The freshman shot 69.7 percent from the field and recorded two steals on the week.
