JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville's Priscilla Williams, Austin Peay's Kyra Perkins and EKU's Kenleigh Woods claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Williams was named Player of the Week after she averaged 20.0 points on the week. She scored a career-high 29 points in the Dolphins' 69-64 road win against Georgia Tech. The guard also recorded 10 rebounds and four assists against the Yellow Jackets. Perkins racked up 29 points in two games against No. 19 Vanderbilt and Indiana State. Against the Commodores, the Morrison, Tenn., native recorded six rebounds and one assist. Woods was named Freshman of the Week after EKU's two home wins. The guard totaled seven assists, four steals and averaged 8.50 points per game on the week.
