JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Central Arkansas’ Addie Graham and Jacksonville’s Jacy Harrelson have been named as the ASUN Conference’s Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, announced Monday by the league office.
Graham had a dominant week at the plate for the Sugar Bears hitting .462 with six hits and six runs scored. The sophomore drove in four runs and knocked a homerun in the opening game against Bellarmine while going 3-for-4 from the plate. Graham added in a stolen base while totaling 10 bases for the week.
Harrelson punched a 1.08 earned run average over two appearances for the Dolphins last week. Over her two wins, Harrelson recorded 13 strikeouts - 10 of them coming from her 8-2 complete game win - and combined with teammate Margaret Jenkins to pitch a shutout over Queens in the final game of the series.
