JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stetson’s Nicole Edmiaston and Bellarmine’s Makenzie Cowburn have been named as the ASUN Conference’s Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, announced Monday by the league office. 
 
Edmiaston had a monster week at the plate for the Hatters where she recorded a .692 batting average on nine hits and 11 runs batted in. The junior infielder added in three home runs and a 1.615 slugging percentage en route to Stetson going 3-1 on the week.

Cowburn controlled the pace in the circle for Bellarmine last week where she racked up three wins and one save in four appearances. The sophomore pitched just under 16 innings while striking out nine for a 1.79 earned run average.
