Softball Weekly Awards - Feb. 9

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida's Bella Cimino and Macie Hunolt earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Softball honors, announced Monday by the league office.

Cimino earned Player of the Week honors after helping North Florida to a 5-1 start, including a win over Auburn. She hit .500 (7-of-14) through six games, and closed out the weekend with three consecutive multi-hit games. Defensively, Cimino recorded 11 assists and 10 putouts.

Hunolt took Pitcher of the Week honors. She started twice and picked up two wins for the Ospreys, throwing eight scoreless innings along the way and giving up just six hits.
