JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Alabama’s Briley Dover and Eastern Kentucky’s Victoria Byrum have been named as the ASUN Conference’s Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, announced Monday by the league office. 
 
Dover led the Lions last week where she went 9-for-13 at the plate with a .692 batting average and a 1.308 slugging percentage. She fired off two homeruns, two doubles, scored six times and drove in seven en route to sweeps over Oakland and Detroit Mercy. Dover gave UNA their 5-4 win over Detroit Mercy when she hit a three-run walk-off homerun in the bottom of the seventh.

Bryum posted a 0.45 earned run average last week where she picked up two wins in three appearances and 15.2 innings pitched. She threw one complete game and struck out 17 while allowing just one run across 66 batters and kept opponents to just a .179 batting average while in the circle.
