Women's Swimming Honors Earned by Queens



ATLANTA – Queens' Danielle Melilli earned the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week honor, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Fifth Year | Douglasville, Ga.

- Third Career ASUN Women's Swimmer of the Week honor; 9th award in program history for the Royals
- Recorded a time of 1:11.58 in the 100 Meter Breaststroke, 57.47 in the 100 Meter Freestyle and 25.74 in the 50 Meter Freestyle
- One of 13 swimmers to represent Queens in the 2023 Toyota US Open 
- Swam a 25.55 in the 50 Meter Freestyle, a personal-best time which qualifies her for the 2024 Olympic Trials
- As of now, she is the only Queens swimmer this season to punch her ticket to Indianapolis
