ATLANTA – The Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimming and Diving weekly accolades, revealed Tuesday afternoon by the league office, were swept by the Liberty Flames.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Abbie Shaw, Liberty
Senior | Niwot, Colo.
- Third Career ASUN Women's Swimmer of the Week honor; 32nd award in program history for the Flames
- Posted fast times in both the 100-yard Backstroke and 200-yard Backstroke
- Earned victories in both aforementioned events with times of 55.19 and 2:00.98
- Won the 200-yard Backstroke event by 4.65 seconds over the second-place finisher
- Contributed the fastest leg (57.00; third) in the 400-yard Medley Relay win

Women's Diver of the Week
Maddie Freece, Liberty
Senior | Lansdale, Pa.
- Sixth Career ASUN Women's Diver of the Week award; 23rd nod in program history for the Flames
- Notched a victory in the 1-Meter Dive last week against UNC Asheville
- Scored a team-best 270 points in the 1-meter, exceeding the standard for NCAA qualification
- Helped Liberty build a 32-6 lead after two events on the road at the Bulldogs
- Has nearly three weeks off before getting back in the pool on Nov. 17
