JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gardner-Webb and FGCU claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Swimming and Diving Awards, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Justin Bender of Gardner-Webb won the men's 100-yard breastroke in 56.25 seconds. In the 200-yard breast, he finished in 2:03.49. He also helped lead the 200-yard medley team to a win.
Eagles' Aislyn Barnett broke a ten-year pld program record by almost eight seconds in the 1000 free. She claimed first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.31.
