Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards - Sept. 30

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Queens swept this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Swimming and Diving honors, while North Florida and UNC Asheville claimed this week's Women's honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Matheus Przewalla claimed first place in the 200- Individual Medley with a time of 1:49.99 and earned 710 points. The sophomore also earned a podium finish in the 100-breaststroke in the Royals' 198-100 win against Davidson. Against UNC, Juan Gonzalez recorded a score of 313.28 in the 3-meter, winning the event. His performance qualified him for the NCAA Diving Zone B Championships, marking the first diver in Queens history to qualify. 

Kayla Daley was named Swimmer of the Week after raking in four combined wins in the Ospreys 207-55 win against Rollins. In the 200-fly she clocked a 2:06.85 before recording a 56.76 in the 200-fly. She claimed her third individual win on the day in the 200-IM with a 2:08.71 mark. Leigha Travis recorded a pair of third-place finishes for the Bulldogs against Davidson. She recorded a 228.80 in the 1-meter and a 229.05 in the 3-meter, just four points out of second place.
