JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Queens' Matheus Przewalla claimed Men's Swimmer of the Week, Delaware's Judy Liu took Women's Swimmer of the Week and FGCU's Alexandra Andueza earned Women's Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Przewalla earned four podiums over the weekend, competing against Virginia Tech and South Carolina. He took first in the 200-yard IM at Virginia Tech with a time of 1:48.49. He also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke against South Carolina, and earned third-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke in both meets.
Liu won all three races she competed in during Delaware's win over FGCU, including the 400-freestyle relay at a time of 50.80 seconds, the race which secured the victory for the Fightin' Blue Hens. Liu also won the 150-yard freestyle in 1:20.38 and the 300-yard freestyle in 2:52.14. She was the only swimmer that competed in multiple races without losing during the dual meet.
Andueza won the 1-meter dive competition in FGCU's dual meet against Delaware with a score of 276.75.
