ATLANTA – The Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week accolades were secured by the UNC Asheville duo of Abby Parks (Swimmer) and Morgan Coughlen (Diver), which were revealed Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Abby Parks, UNC Asheville
Senior | Matthews, N.C.
- First Career ASUN Women's Swimmer of the Week award; 12th nod in Bulldog program history
- Helped UNC Asheville roll to three wins last week against VMI, UMBC and Howard
- Claimed a pair of individual victories in the 50-Yard Freestyle and 100-Yard Freestyle
- Notched times of 23.54 and 51.21, respectively, en route to the top placements
- Anchored the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay (23.33) that also took home the top spot

Women's Diver of the Week
Morgan Coughlen, UNC Asheville
Junior | Frisco, Texas
- Second Career ASUN Women's Diver of the Week honor; fifth selection in UNC Asheville history
- Played a key role in the Bulldogs' positive outcomes versus VMI, UMBC and Howard
- Won both boards in the quad meet following victories in the 1-Meter and 3-Meter Dive
- Claimed the 1-Meter event with a personal record of 231.30
- Notched a score of 236.40 in the 3-Meter in a field of 14 divers
