ATLANTA – The Liberty pair of Kamryn Cannings and Mary Herndon gathered the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week honors, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Kamryn Cannings, Liberty
Freshman | Calgary, Alberta, Canada
- Second Career ASUN Women's Swimmer of the Week honor; 33rd award in program history for the Flames
- Posted NCAA B cut marks in multiple events at the TYR '85 Invite last weekend
- Recorded the 31st-fastest time in the nation for the 100-Yard Butterfly with a winning time of 52.51
- Clocked a 200-Yard Freestyle time of 1:45.67 while leading off the 800-Yard Freestyle Relay
- Notched the ASUN's top time last week in the 200-Yard Butterfly as well with a 1:58.32

- Collected NCAA Division I Zone qualifying numbers in a pair of events last week
- Hit scores of 279.10 in the 1-Meter Dive and 289.60 in the 3-Meter competition
- Tallied the Liberty program's best 1-Meter score so far this season
- Qualified for the Zone Championships in both events, one of two Flames to do so
