JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Austin Peay’s Rashuad Marshall and Central Arkansas’ Camren Hunter garnered this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men’s Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office
Marshall, who earned Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week, led the Govs to two wins last week where he averaged 26.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. The junior forward went on to shoot 17-of-28 from the field and 19 free throws made. Marshall started the week out with a career-game of 27 points, 14 rebounds and 13 free throws made. He followed up that performance with a 26-point outing where he shot 67 percent from the floor.
Hunter, who also earned Player of the Week honors, had a monster week with 27 points per game while shooting 44 percent from the field. The senior guard dished out nine assists over two games while draining eight three-pointers and going a perfect 12-for-12 from the charity stripe. Hunter dropped 30 points against Stetson with five boards, six assists and four steals before adding in 24 points and six rebounds against FGCU.
