JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Austin Peay's Zyree Collins earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men’s Basketball honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Collins took both Player and Newcomer of the Week after the Gov's claimed two wins in conference play this weekend. He averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game over the weekend in a pair of road contests. Collins started the weekend with a 25-point performance on 7-of-14 shooting against FGCU. He added 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four steals in the win against Stetson.
