Field Set for 2026 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship

Jacksonville, Fla. - The field is set for the 2026 ASUN Men’s Basketball Championship with Central Arkansas earning the No. 1 overall seed. The tournament will take place March 4-8 in Jacksonville, Fla. with the first round games being held at the University of North Florida and Jacksonville University while the final three rounds are held at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Central Arkansas captured the No. 1 seed after winning 13 of its last 14 games during the regular season, including a 93-88 victory over Austin Peay in the final month of the regular season. The share of the ASUN regular season title with the Govs is the first conference championship for the Bears.

The March 8 championship game will be televised on ESPN2 while all games of the 2026 ASUN Men’s Basketball Championship will be available on ESPN+.

The winner of the 2026 ASUN Men’s Basketball Championship will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
