JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stetson's Zuzanna Bury, FGCU's Erica Muizi, Lipscomb's Sophia Hudepohl and EKU's Addison Burke earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Volleyball honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Bury led the Hatters to a 2-0 weekend with 5.11 kills and 2.00 digs per set. The sophomore totaled 46 kills, 18 digs, four blocks and three aces in wins against Jacksonville and North Florida. Muhizi registered 18 blocks on the week for the Eagles. She notched four blocks in a midweek battle with FIU then recorded nine (JAX) and five (UNF) in conference matches. Hudepohl led the conference with 12.00 assists per set in the Bisons' sweeps of Austin Peay and West Georgia. The senior assisted on 72 of Lipscomb's 87 kills on the weekend notching 41 assists last Friday against the Governors. Burke averaged 4.00 kills and 2.88 digs in a pair of road wins for EKU. The freshman hit .394 against North Alabama and Central Arkansas, making only four errors in 71 attempts.
