ATLANTA – Coastal Carolina's Maddie Bates and Liberty's Mara Tellers earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.

- First Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; 10th honor in Coastal Carolina program history
- Helped the Chanticleers to a 2-0 week with victories against Vanderbilt and Queens
- Tallied three goals in the Music City last Wednesday in a 10-8 defeat of her AAC opponent
- Followed up on Saturday with six goals in a 21-14 conference victory in the Queen City
- Took 10 shots to get her nine goals last week and notched a 1.000 shots-on-goal percentage

Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Mara Tellers, Liberty
Junior | Goalie | Tolland, Conn.
- First Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection; 24th honor for the Liberty
- Helped her team to a 1-1 week with a total of 21 saves in the net
- Recorded a career-high 16 saves last Thursday in a matchup with No. 5 Notre Dame
- Played all 60 minutes last Saturday in a 15-12 ASUN win on the road against Kennesaw State
- Caused two turnovers against the Irish and ended the week with a .467 save percentage
