JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Delaware and Jacksonville will play in the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women’s Lacrosse Championship game after taking down Lindenwood and Liberty, respectively in tonight’s semifinal games.
#1 DELAWARE (10) VS. #4 LINDENWOOD (4)
The Fightin’ Blue Hens earned their spot in the 2026 ASUN Women’s Lacrosse Championship Final after a 10-4 win over Lindenwood in today’s first semifinal game. Delaware opened the game hot, taking a 4-1 lead after the first period behind two goals from Ella Rishko.
The Lions responded, making it a one-goal game heading into halftime after Luci Selander scored with 46 seconds left on the clock. But, the Fightin’ Blue Hens offense was too much as five different plates recorded goals in the second half to secure the 10-4 win.
Rishko led all scorers in the game with four goals.
#2 JACKSONVILLE (17) VS. #3 LIBERTY (3)
The Dolphins locked in the second spot in the 2026 ASUN Women’s Lacrosse Championship Final following a convincing win over Liberty in the day’s second semifinal match-up. Jacksonville used its early first half lead to cruise to the 17-3 win.
With an 8-2 lead heading into the half, and after an hour weather delay added onto halftime, it was all Jacksonville in the second half. Netting five goals in the third and four in the fourth, the Dolphins secured the 17-3 victory.
Maeve Brennan, Ainsley Scruggs and Maddi Santini all recorded hat-tricks for the Dolphins tonight while Scruggs dished out a team-best four assists.
