Lindenwood, Liberty Advance to ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship Semi-Finals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The opening round of the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women’s Lacrosse Championship opened with Lindenwood and Liberty advancing to Thursday’s semi-final games.

#4 LINDENWOOD (11) VS. #5 COASTAL CAROLINA (9)
Lindenwood secured a spot in Thursday’s semi-final match against No. 1 Delaware after taking a thrilling 11-9 victory over Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the ASUN Women’s Lacrosse Championship.

After the Lions took a 5-3 lead heading into halftime, Coastal Carolina fought back, tying the game at 9-9 just two minutes into the fourth quarter. Lindenwood kept its postseason alive with back-to-back goals from Reese Krieger in the final two minutes to take the 11-9 victory.

Lindenwood will take on the top-seeded Delaware on Thursday at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT.

#3 LIBERTY (16) VS. #6 KENNESAW STATE (9)
The Lady Flames earned their spot in Thursday’s semi-final after controlling the pace of play from the opening face-off. Liberty went on to take an early 3-1 lead after one quarter of play. While Kennesaw State fought back to tie the game at 3-3, Liberty’s offense was too much to stop, scoring the next eight goals to take an 11-3 advantage. The Owls continued to push through the second half, cutting their deficit to as little as five late in the third quarter, but the Liberty offense held on to secure the 16-9 victory.

A plethora of Lady Flames got in on the scoring action tonight; Katie Colavito had a team-high five goals while Olivia Young netted four. Ava Rajala cashed in three goals while Sophia Nesci dished out a team-best four assists in the win.

Liberty will now face No. 2-seeded Jacksonville on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. CT.
