JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Coastal Carolina, Delaware and Liberty highlighted the superlative awards for the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women’s Lacrosse postseason honors, announced by the league office on Monday.
Ella Rishko was voted as the unanimous decision for Offensive Player of the Year after leading Delaware to an 8-0 record in conference play. The Rehoboth Beach, Del. native netted 48 goals, leading the ASUN, while assisting on 12 for 60 points. She also added in 88 draw controls, caused 32 turnovers and picked up 25 ground balls. The attacker has 12 hat tricks and 14 multi-points games for the season.
Morgan Gore earned Midfielder of the Year after 31 goals in 15 games played for the Fightin’ Blue Hens. The Maryland native added in five assists for 36 total points this season while winning 14 draw controls and causing 11 turnovers. The midfielder has recorded seven hat tricks and 12 multi-point games during the season.
Kennedy Radziul was named the Defensive Player of the Year after 27 caused turnovers and 34 ground balls on her stat line. The Northport, N.Y. native ranked seventh in the ASUN in caused turnovers per game, eighth in ground balls and ninth in ground balls per game with Delaware. The midfielder recorded eight games with multiple caused turnovers, nine games with multiple ground balls and was part of a Delaware defense that led the ASUN and ranked ninth nationally in scoring defense (8.31).
Charlotte Sadler earned Goalkeeper of the Year honors after she posted a 10-7 record with 971 minutes played for Coastal Carolina. Sadler led the ASUN with a .476 save percentage and recorded the second-lowest goals against average in the league (8.65). Her 127 total saves and 7.47 saves per game put her fourth in the conference.
Sophia Nesci from Liberty was named as the unanimous Freshman of the Year after netting 36 goals this season - 18 of them coming in ASUN play. The Syracuse, N.Y. native ranked second on the team with 56 points, eighth in the conference, while ranking seventh in the ASUN with her 36 goals. The freshman attacker scored in all but three games this season while adding in 20 assists.
Delaware head coach Amy Altig was named as the unanimous decision for Coach of the Year after she led Delaware to a 12-4 record and a perfect 8-0 spot in ASUN play and was named the Regular Season Champions. Altig spearheaded the Fighin’ Blue Hens to their third-straight 10+ win season while leading the team to a current 11-game win streak, the program’s longest since the 1983 season, and has scored at least 13 goals in their last 11 games. Delaware is one of just five teams in the country to rank in the top-five nationally in scoring offense, scoring defense and draw control percentage.
