Kennesaw State Secures Weekly Women's Lacrosse Awards

ATLANTA – Kennesaw State's Hannah Barth (Player) and Lauren Dobbs (Defensive Player) earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.


Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Hannah Barth, Kennesaw State
Senior | Midfield | Herndon, Va.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; 25th honor in Kennesaw State program history
- Led the Owls in goals and points last week to guide the team to a 2-0 week
- Scored twice and added two assists for four points against Presbyterian
- Tied her career-high with five goals and added three assists on the road at Longwood
- Helped Kennesaw State to the program's best-ever start to a season at 4-1

Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Lauren Dobbs, Kennesaw State
Sophomore | Midfield | Dacula, Ga.

- First Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection; 13th honor for the Owls
- Helped KSU to a 2-0 week and its best-ever start in school history at 4-1
- Grabbed a team-high 15 draw controls during the week, including nine against Presbyterian
- Collected three ground balls and caused one turnover in the two victories
- Returns to action on Wednesday in Fifth Third Stadium when KSU hosts Mercer
