Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards Swept by Stetson

ATLANTA – Stetson's Jordyn Humphrey (Player) and Katie Kornacki (Defensive Player) earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Jordyn Humphrey, Stetson
Senior | Attack | Green Township, N.J.
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; sixth honor in Stetson program history
- Scored six goals on 12 shots in the Hatters' season-opening win on the road at Presbyterian
- Reached a new career high in goals with her performance against the Blue Hose
- Placed nine of her 12 shots on frame for a .750 shots-on-goal percentage
- Added four assists to her stat line to help guide Stetson to a 20-7 win

Katie Kornacki, Stetson
Junior | Midfield | Bunnell, Fla.

- First Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection; 10th all-time honor for the Hatters
- Forced two turnovers and scooped one ground ball in Stetson's season opener
- Tallied six draw controls in the Hatters' 20-7 triumph against Presbyterial
- Created offense from defense by scoring two goals on three shots
- Returns to action when Stetson travels to Spartanburg, S.C., to battle Wofford on Friday
