JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bellarmine's Colin Mackey, FGCU's Victor Lopes, and Jacksonville's Christian Sekanina earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Soccer honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Mackey helped account for three of the Knights goals in a 5-2 win against Central Arkansas with one goal and two assists. He assisted on the game-winning goal that helped Bellarmine clinch the first berth in the 2025 ASUN Championship. Lopes anchored the Eagles' back line to help the team to its first conference win of the season. FGCU handed North Florida its first shutout loss since Aug. 31 (UC Santa Barbara). Sekanina recorded back-to-back clean sheets against Georgia Southern and Stetson. The senior made five saves against the Eagles then helped secure three confeerence points for the Dolphins with four saves in a shutout of the Hatters.
