JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On Wednesday, the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) announced its Men's Soccer postseason honors. North Florida, the 2025 ASUN Champion, earned four individual superlative honors including Player of the Year.
The Ospreys' Anton Khelil was named Player of the Year alongside Bellarmine's Johan Nissen-Lie. Khelil tallied two goals, three assists and 25 shots for UNF this season. Two of his assists came against Wisonsin and then-ranked No. 19 FAU. He helped UNF earn its first wins against a ranked opponent and a Power Four opponent since 2016. Nissen-Lie recorded 10 goals, 49 shots and 22 shots on goal this season to top the conference in those categories. His final goal of the season came in the ASUN Championship Final when he set the Knights' Divsion 1-era program record for goals scored.
North Florida's Jaylen Yearwood earned Defensive Player of the Year. The senior defender started all 16 matches for the Ospreys this season and contributed to their nine-match win streak which was the second longest win streak in the nation at the time. He also recorded his first career goal this season in the team's road match against Mercer. Luciano Natoli recoreded 52 saves, a .776 save percentage and a 10-5 record including a conference-best eight shutouts for the Ospreys this season which marked a single-season program record. His eight shutouts ranks first in the conference while his save percentage ranks 22nd in the nation. Jacksonville's Logan Hall was named Freshman of the Year after playing in all 17 games for the Dolphins and recording his first career goal in the season opener against Grand Canyon. He recorded three assists and 10 shots to help the Dolphins secure a postseason berth for the 19th time in program history.
In his 28th season at Bellarmine, Tim Chastonay was earned the Coach of the Year honor. The Knights were picked last in the 2025 ASUN Preseason Coaches Poll but went on to claim the Gold Division title and a advanced to the ASUN Championship Final. BU's eight wins this season under Chastonay marked a new program record.
