JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida's Luc Granitur and Jaylen Yearwood along with Central Arkansas' Javier Ramirez earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Soccer honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Granitur was named Player of the Week after recording one goal and one assist in the Ospreys' shutout against No. 19 FAU. The forward's performance marked his eighth career goal and sixth career assist. UNF defender Jaylen Yearwood earned Defensive Player of the Week. He notched three assists, which tied the program's record for most assists in a single game. North Florida secured its first win against a rankeed oponnent since 2016. Ramirez was named Goalkeeper of the Week after facing 17 shots in the Bears' game against Missouri State. The senior recorded a shutout after making five saves in the contest.
