Weekly Honors Earned by Queens' Favreau and Liberty's Klunder

ATLANTA – Queens' Kayleen Favreau (Player) and Liberty's Madeleine Klunder (Defensive Player) earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Lacrosse honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Kayleen Favreau, Queens
Sophomore | Attack | Holly Springs, N.C.
- Second Career ASUN Player of the Week selection; fourth honor in Queens program history
- Scored six goals to lead the Royals in the conference opener against Kennesaw State
- Matched her career high in goals as the Royals earned a 17-12 win on the road
- Recorded all six of her goals in the third quarter to solidify the Queens' victory
- Currently ranks third in the ASUN for both goals (40) and points (54) this season

Madeleine Klunder, Liberty
Sophomore | Defender | Fairfax Station, Va.

- Second Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection; 23rd honor for the Flames
- Totaled five caused turnovers and eight ground balls in two games for Liberty
- Tallied five ground ball and three caused turnovers on the road at No. 11 Florida
- Registered three ground balls and two caused turnovers in a win against Stetson
- Ranks second on her team and leads the nation in caused turnovers per game (15.73)
