MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Two first-round clashes mark the beginning of the 2023 ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship as the six-team bracket is played out on the campus of Robert Morris in Moon Township, Pa., from May 2-7. Fourth-seeded Mercer and #5 Bellarmine get the action started on Tuesday afternoon at 1 PM ET followed by a 4 PM ET contest between #3 Jacksonville and reigning ASUN Champion #6 Robert Morris.

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship got off to a hot start on Tuesday, May 2 in Moon Township, Pa. Fifth-seeded Bellarmine earned the opening round upset in a revenge match against #4 Mercer in a fast-paced, 14-13 contest. The Knights earned the program's first postseason victory and advanced to their second championship semifinal appearance against #1/No. 19 Utah on Friday at 1 PM ET.

CLEVELAND (athletics.bellarmine.edu) — The Bellarmine lacrosse team went into the dome covering Krenzer Field at Cleveland State needing a solid effort and a victory over the Vikings to solidify its ASUN Tournament seeding, and the Knights got both in a wire-to-wire, 13-8 win on Sunday afternoon.

ATLANTA – Setting career and season-highs helped Jacksonville's Jacob Greiner and Bellarmine's Dante Batista earn the weekly ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse awards. Greiner tallied a program-best 11 points with a career-high six goals and five assists to earn his first Player of the Week recognition. Batista recorded a season-best 14 saves including his final one in the last 30 seconds to preserve the Knights' one-point victory to claim his first Defensive Player of the Week nod.

ATLANTA – A pair of first time ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse weekly award winners had their names announced for the first time in their careers on Tuesday as the league office appointed Bellarmine's Christian Della Rocco the Player of the Week and Jacksonville's Troy Hettinger Defensive Player of the Week. Della Rocco tallied six goals and an assist to lead the Knights' to their fourth-straight victory. Hettinger tallied three caused turnovers, six ground balls and held one of the premier scorers in the nation scoreless in the Dolphins' 17-15 victory over High Point.

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The rattle that rivaled Kawai Leonard's put #8 Bellarmine over the edge as the Knights' survived #7 North Florida, 76-74, in the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Championship First Round on Monday night in the Liberty Arena in Lynchburg, Va. Juston Betz's game-winner with 0.4 seconds on the clock broke the seventh tie of the ballgame and advance to Tuesday night's matchup against #2 Liberty at 7 PM ET.

ATLANTA – Jayden Hylton of Stetson (Player) and Nolan Pender of Bellarmine (Pitcher) are the first recipients of the ASUN Conference Baseball weekly accolades for 2023, announced Monday afternoon by the league office. Hylton helped the Hatters to a season-opening three-game sweep over Manhattan after batting 6-for-11 (.545 average) with two doubles and a home run while earning seven RBIs. Pender gathered a season-opening victory on the mound after a career-high 11 strikeouts on the road at New Mexico State.

ATLANTA – After scoring 25.5 points per game and grabbing 10.5 rebounds in home wins over Lipscomb and Austin Peay, FGCU's Sha Carter was named the ASUN Conference Women's Basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. She was joined by Gracie Merkle of Bellarmine who netted her ninth career Freshman of the Week selection after hitting 12-of-14 shots against Central Arkansas and North Alabama.
