CHARLOTTE, N.C. (queensathletics.com) - Chris Panos has resigned as head men's lacrosse coach at Queens University of Charlotte, Queens Director of Athletics Cherie Swarthout announced today.

KENNESAW, Ga. - The program's first Division I postseason contest ended in victory as #9 Queens defeated #10 FGCU in the 2023 ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Championship First Round on Monday. 

ATLANTA – The ASUN Conference announced Queens' Jack Royer and Jacksonville's Luke Millican as the Men's Lacrosse Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, on Tuesday. Royer becomes the first Royal to earn a weekly honor in program history after tallying eight points in the program's first Division I victory at Hampton. Millican collected 15 saves and posted a 78.9% save percentage in the Dolphins' win against Marist. 

HAMPTON, Va. (queensathletics.com) – The Queens University of Charlotte men's lacrosse team (1-2) traveled to face Hampton University this afternoon, collecting a 15-8 win over the Pirates (0-1). The win is the first NCAA Division I win for the Royals and for head coach Chris Panos. Queens began its transition to DI as a member of the ASUN Conference on July 1, 2022.  

ATLANTA – With the 2023 ASUN Conference Baseball season quickly approaching, it's time to take a glance at all 14 league squads before the 45th year gets underway this spring. Today, we take a deeper look at ASUN newcomer Queens, who will be making its NCAA Division I debut on the diamond on Feb. 17. The Royals were picked 14th in the Preseason Coaches Poll.

ATLANTA – The 2023 ASUN Conference Men's Lacrosse season is set to begin with the year's first contest taking place Saturday afternoon. Seven of the league's squads suit up starting with Mercer visiting its head coach's former team Bucknell at 11:30 AM while Bellarmine (No. 8 Duke), Air Force (No. 11 Ohio State) and Utah (No. 17 Denver) all begin their seasons against ranked opponents. Detroit Mercy takes on VMI at Noon and Lindenwood will make its DI debut at the same time when the Lions play at Marquette.

ATLANTA – As the final preparations are made for the 2023 ASUN Conference Women's Lacrosse season, we are sharing information about each of the eight conference squads for the upcoming year. The Queens Royals are set for their inaugural DI appearance this season after finishing 21-1 and reaching the NCAA DII semifinals last year. Queens makes its official debut on Feb. 11 at home against Richmond.

ATLANTA - Queens' AJ McKee and Bellarmine's Peter Suder earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball weekly honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Both student-athletes garnered the first respective awards in their programs' histories as McKee was tabbed Player of the Week and Suder claimed the Newcomer of the Week distinction.
