ATLANTA – Lyle Miller-Green of Austin Peay and Jesse Barker of Central Arkansas have been tabbed the ASUN Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, after strong outings in the batter's box and on the mound, the league office announced on Monday.

ATLANTA – Donovan Cash of Kennesaw State and Payton Windham of Central Arkansas both heard their names called by the league office during the latest release of the ASUN Baseball weekly awards, which were announced Monday afternoon. Cash (Player) combined to hit .571 (8-of-14) with three home runs and 10 RBIs for the Owls over the weekend. Windham (Pitcher) threw 8.1 innings over two games (including at No. 10 Vanderbilt) and allowed three hits, no earned runs and had six strikeouts.

CONWAY, Ark. (ucasports.com) - The University of Central Arkansas women's basketball program will discontinue its 2022-23 season on Tuesday, Feb. 21 due to a lack of numbers in the program, according to UCA director of athletics Dr. Brad Teague.

ATLANTA – After helping Lipscomb start the league year 3-0, Bella Vinson and Aleah Sorrentino were named ASUN Conference Women's Basketball weekly award winners as Player and Newcomer of the Week, respectively, the league office revealed on Monday. The Bisons' duo was joined by Parris Atkins of Central Arkansas, who pulled in her second Freshman of the Week honor in a row.
