Thirty One Earn Academic All-ASUN Honors, Wulfers Named Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - FGCU’s Leonie Wulfers was named the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Wulfers highlighted an Academic All-ASUN Team of 31, announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Wulfers, who is currently majoring in PGA Golf Management at FGCU, boasts a 3.973 grade point average while performing at the highest level on the course. The Muenster, Germany native owns a team-best 73.6 adjusted scoring average and holds a national ranking of 225 highlighted by five top-20 finishes, three top-10 results and two top-five performances. Wulfers also captured the individual title at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate earlier this season.

The Academic All-ASUN recognizes student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. All student-athletes named to the list boast a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or better and participated in at least half of their team's games.
