DOTHAN, Ala. - The University of North Florida Ospreys continue to dominate the course at Dothan Country Club in the 2026 Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference Women’s Golf Championship. UNF finished the second round with a 28-stroke lead heading into tomorrow’s final round.
The Ospreys set two new championship records with their 270 score today; they now hold the lowest second-round score and the lowest overall score of a team in the ASUN Championship. UNF takes their dominating position into tomorrow’s final round with three individuals in the top four; Brianna Castaldi (1st), Braydn Smith (2nd) and Kaitlin Schroeder (T4th).
Florida Gulf Coast held on to second place today after finishing one-under par as a team. Amelie Alcantara led the group with a 68 out on the course today while Sydney Deal finished at two-under par for the day.
Central Arkansas had the biggest improvement from yesterday to today with a 19-stroke improvement to move into third place in the standings. Maggie Huett had herself a day finished five-under par for the round to move up to a three-way tie for fourth place.
Tomorrow’s final round of the 2026 ASUN Women’s Golf Championship will start at 9 am ET / 8 am CT with staggered tees on the first and 10th holes. Live results, leaderboards and tee times can be found HERE.
