JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb’s Ava Bankston and Austin Peay’s Jack Dyer earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Golfer of the Week honors, announced Thursday by the league office.
Bankston carded a 217 three-round score en route to winning The Nashville Invitational this past weekend. Totaling 10 birdies over the two days, Bankston led the Bison to a second place finish.
Competing as an individual, Dyer posted a share of fifth place after finishing four under par at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate. The junior carded two eagles over the tournament and totaled 13 birdies while ranking third in the field in par-five scoring.
