JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stetson’s Isaki Sakashita earned this week’s Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Golfer of the Week honor, announced Thursday by the league office.
Sakashita captured the individual title at the Magnolia Collegiate Invitational and led Stetson to a fourth place finish in the 14-team field. Carding a 217 final score, Sakashita rounded out the tournament with her best score of the weekend, finishing round three two under par to edge out fellow ASUN competitor Emma Baier (West Georgia) for the title.
