JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Alabama's Andrew Ferworn claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Golf honor, announced Thursday by the league office.
Ferworn finished in a tie for eighth place at The Prestige in La Quinta, Calif., where he was one of 11 players to shoot under par in the 120 man field. The Houston, Texas native holed seven birdies over the 36-hole tournament while his 141 two-round score bested numerous top-70 ranking individuals.
This is the second ASUN Golfer of the Week award for Ferworn this season.
