JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stetson's Christian Kuehne has been named this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Kuehne helped lead the Hatters to victories against Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern over the weekend. Against Coastal Carolina, he clinched the match at No. 1 Singles with a comeback victory. After dropping the opening set, he won the next two sets 7-5, 6-4 to secure the deciding point for Stetson. At the No. 2 against Georgia Southern, he defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to earn the second 4-3 victory on the weekend. He posted a 2-0 Singles record and 1-1 in Doubles play.
