2025 Women's Golf Postseason Honors Announced

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FGCU and Stetson earned individual superlatives to highlight the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Golf postseason honors, announced Tuesday by the league office. 

FGCU's Lousiane Gauthier is the Golfer of the Year after securing the individual medalist honor at the 2025 ASUN Women's Golf Championship. Gauthier tallied three individual tournament wins during the regular season en route to three ASUN Golfer of the Week selections. Coach Shannon Sykora led Gauthier and the Eagles to the program's first ever individual and team ASUN Championships. 

Stetson's Isaki Sakashita captured the Freshman of the Year award after earning six top-10 individual finishes and helping the Hatters to two team victories. The two-time ASUN Golfer of the Week put an exclamation point on her freshman campaign after tying for sixth in her ASUN Championship debut.
