JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FGCU's Erika Zschuppe and Elena Hinkson along with Lipscomb's Kaïna Cesar earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Soccer honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Zchuppe tallied a pair of goals and a pair of assists in victories at home against West Georgia and Queens. She extended her streak to nine consecutive appearances with a goal, the longest streak in the NCAA this season. Hinkson anchored the Eagles' back line in the shutouts of the Wolves and Royals. She totaled 147 minutes in both wins and helped the FGCU offense with an assists against Queens. Cesar notched her sixth shutout of the season last Sunday against Austin Peay. The junior keeper recorded four saves and to help the Bisons secure the ASUN Gold Division Championship.
