JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Alabama's Alice Bussey, FGCU's Ryanne Robinson and Bellarmine's Anna Jenkins earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Soccer honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Bussey helped guide the Lions to two wins this week, first at home against Troy then on the road against SEMO. She totaled five points on the week with a goal against the Trojans and a goal and an assist in a shutout of the Redhawks. Robinson and the Eagles produced one win and a draw following road matchups with FAU and FIU. She helped FGCU hold the Owls to only three shots on goal before shutting out the Panthers in Miami. Jenkins racked up 14 saves over two contests that saw the Knights go 1-0-1. The redshirt freshman notched a career-high nine saves in a draw against Northern Kentucky then registerd five saves in a 2-1 win against Big Ten foe Indiana.
