JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville's Alicia Rey Perez, Lipscomb's London De Fini and North Alabama's Madison Vukas earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Women's Soccer honors, announced Monday by the league office.
Perez led the Dolphins to a 2-0 start to conference play with wins against Queens and West Georgia. The senior played 62 minutes against the Royals and 47 against the Wolves, tallying two goals in each contest. De Fini and the Bisons held off EKU and Bellarmine for two shutouts to start league play. Lipscomb's defense helped both of its opponents to a combined seven shots on goal in the two wins. Vukas recorded her sixth shutout of the season against Central Arkansas. She notched seven saves to help UNA start 1-0 in the ASUN Gold Division.
