UNF's Christin Eisenbeiss Tabbed Golfer of the Year; 2024 Women's Golf Postseason Awards Announced

ATLANTA - North Florida and Kennesaw State combined to capture superlative recognition to highlight the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golf postseason honors, announced Monday by the league office. 

Christin Eisenbeiss captured back-to-back ASUN Golfer of the Year honors after she posted a 71.4 stroke average while ranking 155th nationally. The senior won the UNF Collegiate with her 12-under-par 204, breaking a program record for both 18-hole (64) and 54-hole scores (204). UNF's One Kashima was a unanimous selection for Freshman of the Year after posting the 74.1 stroke average and ranking 468, the highest of all freshmen in the league. Kashima posted her best finish at the ASUN Championship with one-over 217. Erin Thorne earned the Owls' sixth Coach of the Year honor in ASUN history after leading her team to the 2024 Women's ASUN Championship title. Three of her players earned their way onto the All-Conference Team as the duo of Lara Jecnik and Bella Kil were named First Team All-ASUN.
