ATLANTA – Florida Atlantic and SMU secured Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week awards, which were announced Tuesday by the league office.
Men's Swimmer of the Week
Jack Hoagland, SMU
Graduate | Albuquerque, N.M.
- Second Career ASUN Men's Swimmer of the Week award; second nod in a row for the Mustangs
- Played a key role last week for SMU against both Incarnate Word and Oklahoma Christian
- Earned the top time in the country in the 1000-yard Freestyle with an 8:55.63
- Broke the nine-minute mark in the event for just the second time in the NCAA (USC)
- Helped the squad claim the 400-yard Freestyle Relay after a time of 3:02.46

Freshman | Clearwater, Fla.
- First Career ASUN Men's Diver of the Week selection; 33rd honor in program history for the Owls
- Propelled FAU to a big win over Bellarmine last week in Fort Myers, Fla.
- Notched a pair of individual wins in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter dives
- Tallied scores of 256.73 (1-Meter) and 339.00 (3-Meter) in the victory
- The aforementioned score in the 3-Meter is an NCAA Championship ‘B’ cut
