ATLANTA – Central Arkansas' Kelly Van Gundy (Player) joined Lipscomb's Lydia Hindt (Defensive Player) and North Alabama's Adriana Wright (Goalkeeper) as the trio were awarded their respective honors on Tuesday afternoon following the league office's announcement of the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer weekly awards.
Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Kelly Van Gundy, Central Arkansas
Junior | Midfielder | Flower Mound, Texas
- Second Career ASUN Player of the Week honor; fifth overall accolade as a program for Central Arkansas
- Scored both goals in a 2-1 win over North Florida, scoring both within 90 seconds of the end of each half
- Netted the game-winner to break the 1-1 tie from about 40 yards out; it marked her fourth game-winner of the season
- Ranks first in the ASUN in game-winners and is second in total points, ranking second in goals and second in assists
- Helped UCA a spot in the ASUN Championship for the third straight season

- Delivered a strike from way outside the box that sailed over the Royals' keeper and into the top right corner of the net
- Scored her second goal of the season and of her career as well as an assist in Lipscomb's Thursday match against Queens
- Helped the Bisons' offense to a 1-0 lead while also serving as a key piece of the Bisons' defense
- Recognized Tuesday morning as a member of the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week

- Helped the Lions clinch an ASUN Conference tournament berth with two wins
- Stopped a season-high six shots against North Florida on Thursday before saving five more on Sunday against Jacksonville
- Shutout against North Florida set the UNA program record for single-season shutouts by a goalkeeper
- Ranks first in the NCAA for goalkeeper minutes played (1620:00) and 30th in goals against average (0.611)
