FGCU Sweeps Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

ATLANTA – FGCU's Erica Zschuppe (Player), Emma Badger (Defensive Player) and Olivia Molina (Goalkeeper) were awarded their respective honors on Tuesday afternoon following the league office's announcement of the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Soccer weekly honors.


Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Erica Zschuppe, FGCU
Sophomore | Midfielder | Kirtland, Ohio
- First Career ASUN Player of the Week honor; 33rd overall accolade as a program for FGCU
- Scored goals in back-to-back matches against TAMUCC and South Florida
- Netted two goals on just four shots over the course of the weekend
- Produced the game-winner versus USF and was also awarded an assist 
- Finished with a scoring strike for her second goal; is tied for the team lead

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Badger, FGCU

Sophomore | Defender | Wells, Maine
- First Career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week award; 39th overall honor as a program for FGCU
- Helped preserve two clean sheets and allowed just four shot opportunities against Corpus Christi 
- Played the full 90 minutes as the Eagles posted a 2-0 shutout victory Sunday over in-state foe South Florida
- Tallied 81 minutes against TAMUCC to help FGCU notch its first win of the season
- The Eagles next hit the road for the first time this season against High Point

Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Olivia Molina, FGCU
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Tampa, Fla. 

- First Career ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week selection; second overall accolade as a program for FGCU
- Posted back-to-back clean sheets; a 4-0 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christ and a 2-0 victory over in-state foe USF
- Recorded a career-high 12 saves against the Bulls while facing 22 shots
- Hasn't surrendered a goal in her last 258 minutes between the pipes
- Leads the conference in saves, goals-against average and saves per game
